I set out with a goal to make some scrap shivs. I picked up one piece that had this curved blade shape and a bend in the middle that was similar to this. It didn't take long to fill in the rest. This knife kind of drew itself.
 
Sasu in Japanese means to sting or stab.
 
In spite of its minimal shape and size this is very comfortable in hand and lends itself to multiple grips. 
 
The Regular grind is 3/16" thick 1095 with Cerakote. Kydex sheath.
 
The P'kals are in CPM Magnacut stainless steel and 1/4" thick.
 
The smaller Sasu are just under 6" overall with a sharpened edge just over 2"
 
The 7" have an approximately 2.5" sharpened edge.
