About Me

I am a classically trained furniture maker but I have given in to my love of sharp objects.  I started by making woodworking related tools such as small chisels and marking knives.  This evolved into kiridashi and then to knives.

I believe that a knife should look as good as it functions and this is the driving force behind my designs.  I gravitate towards smaller knives that I see as tools to be carried and used both for utility and defense.  

My knives have been featured in several magazine articles as well as on the covers of the first issue of Carnivore by Recoil, the Knives Illustrated 2021 Buyer's Guide, Recoil Offgrid, and a six page article in Knives Illustrated.
